Orlando Seawolves Continue Playoff Push On The Road

Orlando, FL – Following a 1-1 homestand against the Florida Tropics and the Kansas City Comets, the Orlando SeaWolves take one of their final road trips of the season as they head up north to take on the Baltimore Blast and Harrisburg Heat. The Blast game will be on Friday the 22nd at 7:30 P.M. and then the Heat match will be on Saturday the 23rd at 7:05 P.M. Both those matches will also be televised online at masl.tv.

“There’s plenty of games left to be played,” Head Coach Tom Traxler said. “There’s still some drama left to be written in the novel and it’s going to be up to us to win the game that are in front of us.” 

The Blast and Heat are coming off a game against each other, in which the Blast won 8-2 in Harrisburg. For Baltimore, both Andrew Hoxie and Adriano Dos Santos netted hat tricks to lead the team. 

Vinicius Dantas is the team leader in goals for the Blast, while Jonatas Melo leads the team in points and assists. Dantas did not play in Orlando the last time the two teams faced off, in which the Blast won 4-1 in the second game of the season for the SeaWolves.

For Harrisburg, Ricardo Carvalho leads the team in points, goals, and assists. The Heat also have former SeaWolves defender Dylan Hundelt, who was traded after three games for playmaker Thiago Freitas. Hundelt has played in 15 games for the Heat, scoring three goals and adding two assists. 

After their games this weekend, the SeaWolves will come back home for one game, before heading on the road the next day. Orlando hosts the Kansas City Comets on Friday, March 29th at 7:35 PM, then they travel to Milwaukee to face the division-leading Wave on Sunday, March 31st at 2:05 PM.
