Orlando SeaWolves Re-Sign Defender Drou Goff

by Austin David

ORLANDO, Florida (October 17, 2019) – The Orlando SeaWolves prepare to finalize their preseason roster, with just over a month until the regular season begins, by re-signing defender Drou Goff. Per team and league policies, no further details were disclosed.

Joining the SeaWolves after an open tryout in West Palm Beach last season, the defender appeared in 20 games, scoring once. Goff, who has spent time playing in Sweden, France, Iceland and in the PDL in the U.S., spent his rookie campaign learning the indoor game and will now take that knowledge into the upcoming year.

"Drou made tremendous progress last season.” SeaWolves General Manager Chris Kokalis said. “He keeps things simple as far as his play and is that guy you look too who is willing to do whatever it takes to help the club. I expect him to build on his play from last season."

The SeaWolves will be hosting their 2nd annual Fan Fest on November 17th at Silver Spurs Arena. Doors open at 1 pm with a preseason game against the SeaWolves Reserves at 3 pm.
