The Orlando SeaWolves have re-signed veteran forward Osvaldo Rojas to a five-year deal, locking in the physical goal scorer for the long term.

The 29-year old forward is coming off a banner year, scoring 23 goals and adding 10 assists, both career-highs in his three-year MASL career. Notching six braces and one hat-trick in 23 games, Rojas proved to be one of the more consistent offensive threats for the SeaWolves as the season went on, averaging one goal per game played.

"Osvaldo is one of the league's most underrated players,” SeaWolves General Manager Chris Kokalis said, His heart, passion, and commitment to get better every day puts us in position to win every time he is on the field".

The forward originally came from the Cedar Rapids Rampage, where he had 16 points with eight goals and eight assists in 16 games. He scored a career-high 19 points in 2016/17 with the Chicago Mustangs. Before coming to MASL, the native of Tuxpan, Mexico played for Morelia for four years, and also played with Veracruz and Potros UAEM.
