SeaWolves Play Host To Milwaukee and Florida this Weekend

Orlando, FL – Following a 1-1 road trip to St. Louis and Kansas City, the Orlando SeaWolves come back home to the Silver Spurs Arena to host the Milwaukee Wave on Friday the 1st at 7:35 P.M. and then the Florida Tropics on Saturday the 2nd at 7:05 P.M. Both those matches will also be televised online at

“Well they’re both tough games,” Head Coach Tom Traxler said after practice on Wednesday. “Milwaukee are the top team in our division and possibly one of the top teams in the league. Florida is going to come out and press. They’re going to know we played the night before. It’ll be two different teams in two different days.” 

The Wave are coming off a 5-6 loss against the Harrisburg Heat. Currently, at 13-3 and lead the South Central standings in the MASL. Their leading scorer, Ian Bennett, has 28 goals and five assists. Bennett also currently leads the league in goals scored.

The Tropics, meanwhile, is coming off a 10-9 loss to the St. Louis Ambush. At 4-12, Florida sits at the bottom of the South Central standings. Victor Parreiras is their leading scorer with 12 goals and seven assists.

After their games this weekend, the SeaWolves will head back on the road for another back-to-back as they travel to Kansas City and Milwaukee on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. Orlando’s game against the Comets will be 8:35 PM EST on Friday, while the Saturday game at the Wave will be at 2:05 PM EST.
