Orlando, FL– The SeaWolves are coming off a rough weekend of league games, losing in the last seconds of the game to the St. Louis Ambush on Friday at home, then falling on the road to Utica City FC. This comes off the heels of a two-game winning streak and a run of good form, which Orlando will hope to rekindle in St. Louis as they prepare to take on the Ambush on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 8:05 E.T. The match will be televised online at

“In our division, we’re still in the thick of things,” Head Coach Tom Traxler said after practice Wednesday, “We go in, have good success against St. Louis, that puts us to 4-5, it puts St. Louis to 6-8 and then we have everything to play for. Within our division, we’re still very much alive in the playoff hunt.”

Orlando will be without defender Richard Schmermund, who is suspended due to blue card accumulation in the game against Utica. Schmermund, along with Osvaldo Rojas, were both shown red cards in that match.

The Ambush is coming off a 9-7 loss to the Florida Tropics this past weekend. They will host the team from Lakeland one day before they take on Orlando on Saturday. Their leading scorer Zach Reget has 15 goals on the season.

After the Ambush game on Saturday, the SeaWolves will play their next game after a week break in Lakeland, facing the Florida Tropics for the third time this season. That game will be on Saturday, February 16th. Kickoff for that will be 7:05 p.m EST.
