Veteran Sports Executive Joins SeaWolves Front Office

ORLANDO, FL – The SeaWolves added some high caliber talent to their front office on Tuesday. The team announced the hiring of Andrew Haines as the club’s new Vice President of Business Development. 

Haines is no stranger to the Major Arena Soccer League or to soccer in Central Florida. In 2015 he Founded Central Florida Sports Ventures which owns Florida Tropics SC (Professional Indoor Soccer), and Lakeland Tropics (Outdoor Developmental Soccer).  In 2017 he sold his majority ownership in the team and retained a minority stake with the organization until the summer of 2018.

Prior to that Andrew was the Founder/Co-Owner/CEO of STL Sports Ventures which owned the St. Louis Ambush (Professional Indoor Soccer), and the St. Louis Attack (Arena Football).  After three seasons as both majority owner, and general manager of the organization he sold his ownership.

“Andrew brings a tremendous amount of experience to our organization,” said Chief Operating Officer Donovan Roper. “He has been at the helm of some great organizations and we look forward to having him apart of stabilizing our club for many years to come”.

In his role with the SeaWolves, Haines will oversee the club’s corporate partnerships. This includes sponsorship relationships, chamber relationships, and identifying new & building on existing revenue opportunities. 

Orlando will begin their second Major Arena Soccer League campaign November 22nd at 7:35pm. All SeaWolves 2019-20 home matches will take place at Silver Spurs Arena located at Osceola Heritage Park. An opponent for that match and complete schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
